Microsoft teams channel: how to leave one?

hello so im a uni student and i changed lecture sections and ive been trying to leave the channel on teams but i dont know how, i clicked on manage team but i cant see an option where i can leave, please help asap.

    Based on your description we understand that  you are a university student who recently changed lecture sections. As a result, you need to leave a specific channel on Microsoft Teams that is associated with your previous lecture section. However, you are having trouble finding the option to leave the channel. You tried clicking on "Manage team," but you couldn't find the option to leave the channel.

    However if the affected accounts are professional/educational account e.g:******@companydomain.com or ******@schooldomain.com , to better understand the problem and provide a solution, we need more details from you, please provide us with the following information. Thank you. 

    1-Please did you try to leave the channel using your teams web version? if not try it and let us know

    2-Typicall as member to leave a channel you can Open Microsoft Teams: Ensure you are logged into your Microsoft Teams account.

    1. Navigate to the Teams Tab: On the left sidebar, click on the "Teams" tab to see all the teams you are a part of.
    2. Find the Relevant Team: Locate the team that contains the channel you want to leave.
    3. Expand the Team: Click on the team name to expand it and view all the channels under that team.
    4. Hover Over the Channel: Move your cursor over the channel you want to leave. You should see three dots (...) appear next to the channel name.
    5. Open Channel Options: Click on the three dots (...) to open the channel options menu.
    6. Leave the Channel: Select "Leave the channel" from the dropdown menu

    Note : Please note that there is team and under the team you can see the multiple channel, you leave the channel you need to click on the team not the channel to be able to the leave team option.
