Controlling data sharing, visibility, and access permissions within Microsoft Teams for Education
I have tried doing the same but it will not give me an option to link a different account once one is already there. Any ideas?

Hello,
I accidentally connected the wrong LinkedIn account to my Microsoft Teams profile. Now, the wrong LinkedIn information is showing up when I view profiles. There is a "Wrong LinkedIn profile" button in Teams, but clicking it does nothing — it doesn’t allow me to change or remove the linked account. I’d like to disconnect or update the LinkedIn account associated with my Teams profile. Please let me know how I can fix this.
Thank you.

I found a workaround—(Microsoft, please HIRE me once you read this!)
I ran into the same issue and got pretty paranoid, since this bug has privacy implications and is causing confusion in my professional network.
Here’s what I did: I clicked “View Profile” and linked a test LinkedIn account to override the incorrect one. That brought up the LinkedIn permission settings in TEAMS, where I unlinked everything and disabled the public profile visibility.
I’m experiencing an issue in Microsoft Teams whereby my profile has been incorrectly linked to another person’s LinkedIn account. I attempted to use the “Wrong LinkedIn profile” button, but it does not respond or redirect anywhere.
Could this please be escalated to Microsoft for resolution, as many other folks have raised it this year. This has severe privacy implications and is causing confusion in my professional network.
I would appreciate urgent support in unlinking or resetting my profile.
TIA.
