    Hello 4978,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Microsoft Word is compatible with MacBooks, but the version you can install depends on the macOS version your MacBook is running. Here's how you can proceed:

    1. **Check Your macOS Version**: First, determine which version of macOS your MacBook is using. Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen, and select "About This Mac." This will show your macOS version.
    2. **Microsoft Office Versions**: Depending on your macOS version, you will need to download a compatible version of Microsoft Office, which includes Word. For example, Office 365 (now Microsoft 365) is compatible with more recent versions of macOS, while older versions of macOS might require an older version of Office.
    3. **Download from Microsoft**: If you cannot download Microsoft Word from the Apple App Store, you can download it directly from the Microsoft website. Visit the Microsoft Office website, choose the version of Office that's compatible with your macOS, and follow the instructions to download and install it.

    I hope this helps,

    Best Regards, Ibhadighi
