Unable to join a meeting on MS Teams

I’m encountering the below error when trying to join a meeting on Microsoft Teams. Since I need to share my screen during the meeting, joining anonymously isn’t an option.

The account you're using doesn't have access to this meeting due to org policies?

Has anyone come across this issue before or know how to resolve it?

I’ve contacted the organization to request that guests be allowed to join the meeting and share their screens. I’m able to join the meeting anonymously using a private/incognito browser, but my understanding is that I won’t be able to share my screen unless I’m signed in. Could you please confirm if that’s correct? Unfortunately, I’m unable to test this in advance since the meeting requires the host to admit participants.

Joining anonymously via web browser actually allows you to share screen, unless the meeting organizer has specific meeting policy to prohibit it. I just tested it on my own as I have both organization account and personal account, no problem for me.

    Hello,

Are you using an organization account to join meeting that's hosted by user using personal account? Or vice versa?
