Teams Display Photo

Recently updated photo on work account. It used to offer a cropping function but now doesn’t. When enlarging the new photo it is absolutely tiny and almost impossible to view. I know there have been recent updates to teams but this is odd.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with cropping your Teams profile picture.

    Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem.

    Restart your Teams client and check if the issue persists.

    Switch back to the old or classic Teams and check if the issue persist.

    You can do this using the new Teams toggle button.

    Check if you have similar issues with Teams on the web by visiting https://teams.microsoft.com/

    You can check for Teams updates manually

    Click on your avatar icon in the top-right corner of Teams. Go to About > Version to check the current version and update date. Click on the avatar icon again and select Check for Updates to download and install any available updates while you continue working. When prompted, click Refresh Now to restart Microsoft Teams and apply the updates. . Clearing the Teams cache might help.

    You can try clearing out the AppDataRoamingMicrosoftTeamsCache and AppDataRoamingMicrosoftTeamsIndexedDB folders and then restarting Teams.

    Thank you Oluwatosin. Can you switch to classic from new on ios/mobile version of teams? This is the only version I use.

    Hi Drewlander1,

    Yes you can switch from your IOS mobile device.

    Open Teams on your device. Go to Settings and more (usually represented by three dots or a gear icon). Turn off the “New Teams” toggle.
