Teams Integration with Outlook Calendar Attachments

Microsoft 365

Half of my department uses Teams, half of my department uses Outlook. Outlook users have many events per day, with multiple attachments for each event. It makes the transition to Teams too cumbersome. Teams is great with meeting integration and shared simple files that everyone can update; it also facilitates the manipulation, quantifying of tasks by channel, and allows management to parse out information with greater ease. For cross communication and awareness, ~150 people are duplicating their efforts, at the cost of efficiency.

    Hello AnnieNYC,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have a query on teams integration with outlook attachments. I have done further tests and consults from my end and I'm afraid that attachments in Outlook calendar events are not currently supported in Teams. I do understand your need for this and we do apologize if we are not able to meet your requirements. However, we will surely raise you concerns to our Product Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates.

In the meantime, I do think that this can be a great addition to the teams app. If you don't mind, please provide feedback on this feature request by creating a new post in the Feedback Portal at Microsoft Teams · Community. Microsoft is committed to enhancing the customer experience by continually examining suggestions to include in the design and development of future product upgrades based on your suggestions.

Your kind understanding is highly appreciated.

Thank you for your precious time and have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Ashraf.
