Locating documents and sharing them with others in Teams chats or channels
Hi Kepka,
Thank you for reaching out to this forum. I'm Utkarsh and as a fellow Microsoft user, I'm here and ready to help you today. I am a user like you, this is a user forum and not Microsoft directly.
I would be more than happy to answer any other questions should you have them.
To flip an image in Microsoft Teams, you would need to use a separate image editing tool before uploading or sharing the image in Teams. Microsoft Teams itself does not have built-in image editing capabilities. However, there are a couple of workarounds you can try:
- Paint application in Windows: a. Open the image you want to flip in the Paint application. You can do this by right-clicking on the image file and selecting "Open with" > "Paint." b. Once the image is open in Paint, click on the "Rotate" button in the toolbar at the top. It looks like a square with a curved arrow. c. From the dropdown menu that appears, select either "Flip Horizontal" or "Flip Vertical" depending on how you want to flip the image. d. After selecting the desired flip option, click on the "File" menu and choose "Save" to save the flipped image.
- Locate the image on your computer that you want to use as a background in Microsoft Teams. Open the image using any photo editing software, such as the default Photos app on Windows PC. In the photo editing software, look for an option to flip or rotate the image. This option is usually found in the toolbar or under the Edit menu. Apply the flip or rotation to the image and save it as a new copy. Now, when you upload the flipped image to Microsoft Teams as a background, it should appear correctly.
- Rotate the Image:
In most image editors, you can rotate an image by selecting it and then choosing an option like "Rotate" or "Rotate 90 degrees" from the menu.
Thank you for posting this case in Microsoft Community! I am Microsoft user just like you hope you are well.
I am NOT a Microsoft Agent/Employee.
I hope this is helpful! Best Regards, Utkarsh
