Calendar Entry Name missing from downloaded attendance report file name since Dec 13, 2024 server updates by Microsoft.

After meeting has ended - click on Calendar Entry - click Edit - Click Attendance - click download

Attendance Report is downloaded to local Downloads Directory

Before the flawed update name of file:

AV 354 FALL 2024 CRM - Week 10 - Class 19 - Attendance report 12-10-24

After the update name of file:

Meeting - Attendance report 12-10-24

Recordkeeping of TEAMs for Education accreditation audits require the complete file name.

Apparently, the script that concatenates the file name (Calendar Entry Name + - Attendance report + Calendar date) was overwritten with the last server update.

    Dear David Baldwin2,

    Greetings!

Thanks for posting to this community.

Based on your description, I understand your issue with Calendar Entry Name missing from downloaded attendance report file name since Dec 13, 2024 server updates by Microsoft. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience this might have caused to your work!

Upon tests on my end, like in below screenshot, I created a test meeting and I'm able to reproduce the same issue. In rare cases, the correct report name is shown. And I noticed that the Meeting title is blank in the report file with default/wrong name.

Furthermore, as you mentioned this issue occured with the last server update, in this case, the could be related to backend service side and it's highly recommended to contact the admin of your organization to raise a service request ticket and escalate this issue to our online support****through the Microsoft 365 admin center. For more details, please kindly check: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn. Please believe that support agents with more privileges and resources than us can investigate into this issue and best assist you.

Thank you in advance for your understanding! At this point, your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I hope all the best!
