Autoupdating from a onedrive folder to Teams, one-way, simplest way

I am teaching and creating materials to be used by multiple different teachers. I am editing and updating these materials all regularly. I would like to store these files on Teams, in a specific Team. I would like Teams to automatically sync the specific files from a specific folder to a corresponding folder in Teams. I think the reason for the problem is that I uploaded them and now they sit in different places but now that I've started I don't know what the quickest way would be to restore them all in a more simple fashion. Furthermore, I don't want changes made in Teams to affect the main files in Onedrive, so it should be a one way process. Any help appreciated!

I apologize for the issue you are experiencing with MS Teams. Please be assured that I will do my best to provide a satisfactory response and assist you with resolving the problem.

According to [1], you can synchronize SharePoint and Teams files with your computer using OneDrive. You need to set up syncing by selecting the site with the files you want to sync and then select Sync. You can also change the sync settings by selecting the blue OneDrive cloud icon in the Windows taskbar notification area [2].

However, this will create a two-way sync between your OneDrive folder and Teams folder, which means any changes made in either location will affect both. If you want a one-way sync from OneDrive to Teams only, you may need to use a different method.

One method is to copy your OneDrive folder to Teams using the Copy to option [3]. This will create a copy of your files in Teams that will not be affected by changes made in OneDrive. However, this is a manual process that you need to repeat every time you update your files in OneDrive.
