When creating an assignment, unable to preview on Mac/iPad

It seems like there had some uploading conflict that failed to upload your screenshot in here. Could you please share it again so that we can understand the detailed scenario of Preview the Reading Progress assignment on iPad/Mac?

I have tested on Mac and iPad device and attached a screenshot below, may I know if you are encountering with the unable to preview issue when viewing a student return? If so, please share us some more information as required for further troubleshooting.

1. May I know if the same behavior will happen when you preview other Reading Progress assignments?
2. If other teachers in your school are facing a similar scenario?
3. If you access Teams Online via Safari on Mac, will the same preview issue appear in Teams for web app?

It's when I go into student view, so I can demonstrate for my students what to do. I can certainly see what my students hand in when they complete the task and it works perfectly for them. I have tried this through web browser, old teams and new teams on Mac and the app on the iPad. This is across the board for all staff at my school. I believe it might be a blocking issue as our IT people were not sure what to do, and I couldn't say whether it works on a PC as we don't use PCs at my school. If my students log in on my device it works for them, only as a teacher trying to do student view does the screen below appear.

Just trying to gather some more help so hopefully it can be fixed.

Thanks for your detailed sharing back with us. From our test tenant, teacher accounts can check Student View for reading progress assignments on iPad and Mac devices.

In this situation, as you mentioned the issue is happening on all teachers in your school while not the students, even for a same device, it is highly possible that there could be a temporary server-side issue or some related setting cache in the tenant side for teacher licenses, which both needs to be investigated through the remote section and collect error logs from back-end to fix this for you and all teachers.

Indeed, the IT department may not be able to locate the issue cause if there shows no Service Incident in Microsoft Admin Center, so simply ask the admin to raise a free support ticket from the Microsoft 365 admin center and report the issue to the related team to get the proper and dedicated support.

The support team there can help you remotely and collect logs to find out what exactly happened that caused the feature conflict. Usually the admin account is owned by someone in the school IT department.
