How to get rid of "Your account requires attention" popups

I have several collaboration institutions and one of these requires additional authentication. I do not want to be logged in at this institution on permanent basis, but Teams keeps sending me notifications that my account requires attention. How do I get rid of these notifications (but still retaining the possibility to log in to collaboration institution when this is necessary).

    Thank you for your answer!

"If you want to stop receiving notifications about account attention specifically, you might need to sign [permanently] out from the institution that requires additional authentication"

That was exactly what I did NOT want to. I would like to retain the connection option with external institution (I need it may be once a week or a couple of times per month) but get rid of these recurrent notifications (pop up + beep) each time I open Teams or some of its functions (which I need to use on daily basis).

Is there a way to stop all the notifications?

    Best greetings,

    Mari

    Hello Mari,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I understand you will love to stop Microsoft Teams from sending notifications that your account requires attention.

you can adjust your notification settings. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Open Microsoft Teams.
    2. Click on your profile picture at the top right corner.
    3. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
    4. In the Settings window, go to the "Notifications" tab.
    5. Here, you can customize your notification preferences for messages, mentions, calls, and more. You can choose to turn off specific types of notifications or adjust the frequency of notifications

If you want to stop receiving notifications about account attention specifically, you might need to sign out from the institution that requires additional authentication

Go to your profile picture and select "Accounts & orgs".

Sign out from the institution that you do not want to be logged into permanently.

    Best Regards,
