Can't add co-organisers to a Teams meeting later on

When I set up a meeting in the calendar, I cannot add another co-organiser after the meeting has been scheduled. That is, I can add several hosts while scheduling but once the meeting has been set, any additions cannot be made later on. I can add people to the calendar invitation, but those people cannot be added as co-organisers as has been possible before. Instead, the meeting options site says "some options may be locked". Is this a bug, or what is going on?

    Hello M. O. XP**,**

Good day! Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft community.

Regarding the issue with adding co-organizers in Microsoft Teams for Education. I understand that you are able to add multiple hosts while scheduling the meeting, but after it is set, you cannot add co-organizers later on. You also see a message stating, "some options may be locked" in the meeting options.

This behavior may not necessarily be a bug but could be related to permission changes or policy settings in your Microsoft 365 environment, especially if your organization has recently adjusted policies for meeting roles.

To better understand your problem, I need you to give me additional information so that we can come together and solve the problem by working together.

    • May I know your affected account type and subscription?
    • Is Microsoft 365 Education/Business or Microsoft Personal Account (outlook.com/Hotmail.com/live.com) or any third-party account?
    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Are there any other users, who are affected like you, within same organization on Teams Education account?
    • Did it work normally before?
    • If it was working initially? If so, can I know if you've made any recent changes to your TEAMS/device/account/permissions/update office, etc.?
    • Are you a global admin user or an end user?
    • Do you have access to the Microsoft 365 admin center?
    • Are you connected through a proxy, firewall, VPN, or antivirus? If it does, turn them off or bypass them and try to log in again.
    • Try a different network as well.
    • Teams Web Logs: Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer. (Please verify and submit this record through the private messaging platform.)
      • Teams DNS connectivity test.
      • Teams Calendar tab.
      • Teams presence based on calendar events.
      • Teams Exchange integration.

Thanks for choosing the MS community.

Looking forward to your response and have a great day ahead!!

    Sincerely
