Hello Johannes ,

My name is Jackson and thank you for your question.

I sincerely apologize for the issue you experience with your Teams, I am a user myself and understand how frustrating this is.

To leave an organization with your personal account follow the steps below;

  1. Sign in to https://myapps.microsoft.com
  2. Select the My account option on the top left corner
  3. Select my organization and you will see the list of organization connected to your account
  4. Select Leave next to the organization you want to leave and confirm.

If you can not leave the organization, you may need to contact the organization IT admin as its possible they have a policy that doesn’t allow users to leave by themselves.

Warm regards,

Jackson E.

    Did you ever get a solution to this? Everybody answering the question about this issue really have no clue what they are talking about. It is impossible to leave an organization that no longer exist (but it should not be) since you first need to authenticate against that specific organization and in this lies the problem. I/You CANNOT authenticate against the organization because it does not exist!!

    Thi have to be a MAYOR bug from Microsoft's side, but some how, the people working on answering these forums has no idea what they are actually talking (writing) about....

    I personally have several organizations that cannot be removed, since these organizations was created as tests in different project I were part of and then got deleted, it is now impossible for me to leave them :(
