hi i have recently joined a teams channel where there is a problem with the enabling of recordings

the issue was thought to be temporary but now it has come again

when the presenter enables ends the meeting it usually gets stored in the form of recordings in the group under files section next to posts but now the recordings have disappeared

even when i click on the meeting post, go to chats and click on the video recording a SharePoint site opens where on the top left corner comes a message '404 NOT FOUND' i am not a group admin and we dont have an IT team as far as i know

please someone explain step by step as i would have to send it to the admin for the problem

yes the recordings were previously enabled and also working properly but now they have just disappeared

and i tried using google as the browser but it was just showing that recording is just available for org members have access to meeting recap

I also asked every participant for the recordings but it was not visible to even the admins

Please make sure that recording was actually started during Teams meeting. If you are not able to find such meeting recording, you can try to find such meeting recording by Get started with eDiscovery (Standard) | Microsoft Learn to find such video. Microsoft 365 Admin helps you to use Content search or eDiscovery tool. Compliance admins can look for the keyword "recording" in the subject line of the item in compliance content search preview and discover meeting and call recordings in the organization**.** Also you may check Compliance and eDiscovery for meeting recordings.

On the other hand, we recommend you to login Teams web app with different browser and check if you are able to find such meeting recording from Teams chat or Channel. Check if other users are able to find such meeting recording from their Teams app?
