I cannot see my created private channels when I create new list or plan on Task app for Teams

I cannot see my created private channels when I attempt to create new list or plan on Task app for Teams. General Channel is the only available option. Does this mean only channels in "standard privacy" are allowed to be added?

    It seems the answer is yes, because i have simulated and created a channel with a standard privacy and it appeared. any workaround, so i can choose even the private channel?
