How do I change the download folder location in the New Teams for macOS (2024)? Did they remove this feature?

I want to change where files download on my Mac. I used to be able to set this but now I can't find the setting.

    Someone provided an answer for people whos downloads werent going to their downloads folder but there still isnt the option to choose where to save a file each time you download. The fact this feature still isnt available is crazy. It was available with old teams... How hard could it be to add this?

    Use simple MacOS Automator to move any files downloaded to /Users/"username"/Download to wherever you want.

    This turned out to be the ideal solution, since it fixed similar issues I'm having with other applications (e.g., AirDrop). Thanks for sharing!
