Hello, I have a problem logging out of my Microsoft Teams for Education account. With the new version, it's not possible to log out, and after logging out, it's still possible to access the account without logging in again since it remains remembered. I tried going to account settings to remove the account, but it doesn't appear in the settings or in the control panel under credential management. Thank you.

    Hi,

I just had the same question. And the solutions I saw here might be correct, but I was lazy and found out that if you: Open Word or Excel, you should be logged in at the top right corner, click sign out. And I am logged out of everything related to windows including Teams. It worked for me!

    Best regards!

Currently, to remove any saved credentials, delete these folders:

    %LocalAppData%\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe

    %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy

    %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\OneAuth

    %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\TokenBroker

    %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\IdentityCache

    Then restart the PC.

Hello, 1. This concerns the Teams desktop application. 2. I don't receive any error messages. 3. I have cleared the cache, but nothing happened. So, when I go to Settings -> Accounts -> Access work or school, there is no account listed there. I want to emphasize that this is the new version of Teams for school and work.

    Hello,

My name is EngineTyme, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I would be glad to help you.

I understand that you cannot sign out of Teams.

Please confirm you have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Are you trying to sign out of Teams on the web or Teams app?
    2. Do you get any error message while trying to sign out?
    3. Have tried clearing the cache of the Teams app after signing out?
    4. Have you tried clearing cache for the browser if the problem is with Teams on the web?

You can follow the steps below to remove the account from your device if you are on Windows:

Select Start > Settings >Accounts >Access work or school. Choose the account that you want to remove from the device. Select Disconnect and then follow the instructions.

So in Windows credentials, there is nothing related to Teams. When I click on my picture, it shows like this, I'm sending you a picture.
