Hello,

I am trying to run a Teams meeting on my computer and simultaneously connect my iphone to my computer via USB to serve as a document camera. When I click share screen, my phone is not an option to be shown. Can you please advise?

Thank you.

    Hi Lauren,

I'm Ed, a fellow customer like you & an Independent Advisor.

I understand that you're having issues with Teams screen sharing.

If I understand it correctly, you wanted to share your IOS screen connected to your laptop in Teams.

Unfortunately, this is not supported. The sharing of the screen will only detect the desktop and not the phone connected to it.

You can share your IOS screen in Teams by directly installing Teams in your mobile device.

The way to fix it would be to get the attention of Microsoft. You should drop a request to Teams engineers by posting at Uservoice which is a repository of suggestions for Microsoft engineers to prioritize feature development requests.

After posting the suggestion, post the link back here so that I and others can upvote your suggestion.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    Edmund A.
