How to prevent guest access to specific MS Team?

Hello Team,

We want to restrict few teams so that the owners should not be able to add GUest or external users in the Team.

We tried setting the M365 group setting AllowToAddGuests to false and verified the settings. But we are still able to add external users in the group.

Could you please provide your support.

Can you be a bit more specific as to what you configured? You need to create a new settings object using the Group.Unified.Guest template and assign it to the group(s) in question. Once the setting is configured, it only affects client applications such as Teams or OWA, it will not prevent changes done via the admin interfaces.

Alternatively, you can achieve the same via Sensitivity labels.
