I can not connect to another PC of mine. Windows security keeps asking me to enter network credentials and awill not accept my credentials. I have turned off Password protected sharing on bot PC's bit it makes no difference

    I'm Cherrelyn, I'm here to help and I understand how frustrating it is when you can’t connect between your own PCs despite doing everything right. Please try to use the exact username and password of the target PC check from Control Panel > User Accounts. If there’s no password on the account, try setting a temporary one and Windows often blocks connections to accounts with blank passwords. Ensure both PCs are in the same workgroup Control Panel > System > About. Open Credential Manager on the connecting PC search in Start, and add a Windows credential manually using the IP address and account info of the target PC.

    Hi Cherrelyn thanks for you r response.

    • Both PCs have passwords.
    • Both PCs are on the same Workgroup.
    • I have tried connecting using the exact PC name
    • I have tried using the Exact user Name of the target PC
    • I have tried using the the Microsoft account email address which is the same for both PCs
    • I have tried disabling Password protected sharing on both PC's
    • I have added new password Windows credential manually using the IP address and account info of the target PC.
    • I have added new password Windows credential manually using the PC Name and password and account info of the target PC.

    I either get an error stating incorrect Password or security policies image
