Translation process does not work

Whenever I try to translate a web page in Edge I get the following message "Translation failed".

I've tried resetting settings, clearing cookies, etc...

What else can I do?

Hello Johndavies_799,my name is Luiz Cruz independent consultant and I'm here to help you;

I understand Edge translation is not working on your Iphone;

In that case I suggest you try the following;

Launch Edge;

Click on the three bars (upper right corner of the screen) and access Settings;

Go to General > Microsoft Translator;

Enable the "Translate pages" option;

Check the languages in the list, if the option is set to "Never translate", click on the language and enable the option "Offer for Translation";

You can add more languages by clicking on "Add Language...";

Close Edge and launch again;

Check if the pages are translated now;
