How can I open Music files with RMJ ext.?

I have MUSIC files with RMJ ecxt. and I can't open them!  

What can I do to correct this?

I do not recommend Real Player which is way too bloated and as a result can cause issues. Instead I'd use the much leaner VLC which is the world's most popular free open-source player, and can play those file types.

When you install VLC if you don't want it to be your default player because you prefer Windows Media Player or another, just install it at all defaults and it will pick up the file types that others cannot play including this one.

After installing VLC you can try opening those files to see if it opens on it's own to play them. If not then go into VLC and choose Open from the File tab to browse to and open the Real Jukebox files.

Hi again -

I'd imagine you need to adjust the sound on the individual players.

How you can play songs on a DVD depends on how it was originally created, as shown here:

You can also right click the DVD in File Explorer and choose Explore to see if you can choose the songs there.

    https://fileinfo.com/extension/rmj           I noticed that this mentions Real Player,  I had that at one time.     Not ? ing your knowledge but is the video etc. better then the Real etc.?    Can I have both players on the computer at the same time, and why would I need to?   I have not installed either as of now.   Just guessing I think you like the video etc. !!!!!

    Hi Greg,

    I got the VLC installed and it works fine!   Should the sound be the same on all of the players, or do they have to be fine tuned to match the sound?  Example WMP, REAL AND VLC

    How do I set it up so I can see all of the songs etc. that are listed on the DVD so I can just click on the song that I want and not have to listen to all of them to get to the last one,  probably a stupid ? on my part!
