Activate Windows seeks popping up on Surface Book 2

I decided to do a fresh install on my SurfaceBook 2 - Ever since, I keep getting 'Activate Windows' watermark.

I then troubleshoot, and I get the 'Windows have been activated with a key linked to your microsft account' - That lasts anywhere for 1 hour to 8 hours before it comes back.

Some observations:

Product ID: 00330-62989-08643-AAOEM

Product Key shows up as XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX-CWH2D

Error Code: 0x8007232B

What is really interesting is, that my OriginalProducyKey on the bios ends in 9W3GQ

    Granted i used the 15 inch image over the 13.5 inch as that had a newer build no. 

    that could be an issue. please try the proper image and then you can go to
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10 and update to the
    latest version.

    I used the surface recovery image. Granted i used the 15 inch image over the 13.5 inch as that had a newer build no.

    did you use a generic Windows 10 installer or the official recovery image?

    Hi Glen -

    I appreciate You taking time to respond. 

    Based on what I an reading, when I execute

    slmgr -ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

    That should take care of the issue - and it does - but after one hour, sometimes 12 hours It goes back.

    I understand how difficult it is, when the device or app won't work in the way it should.

    0x8007232B means DNS name does not exist. To troubleshoot just click on the link below and find 0x8007232B to address the issue.
