How do I stop advertising charges?

I closed my store and still getting charged for advertising. I need to shut that down but can't find where to do it. I would like to remove my credit card as well and can't find where to do that either. Need step by step instructions on how to get there. Thanks.

    I understand from your message that you would like to delete your credit card and deactivate your Microsoft advertising account. We are here to help and are happy to provide you with information on this matter. 

    Kindly be informed that you can delete a credit card, debit card, or other payment method, unless it is set as the primary payment method for an account. If it is, then you'll need to set a new one before you can delete the payment method.

    1. From the top menu, select Tools > Billing & Payments > Payment methods.
    2. In the list of payment methods, locate the payment method you want to delete and select Delete.
    3. When the confirmation message appears, select OK

    Also please find below the steps to delete your account, if you decide to delete an account, you'll need to first pause your campaign and pay any pending charges.

    1. From the collapsible menu on the left, select Campaigns.
    2. Select the checkbox next to the campaigns you wish to pause.
    3. On the blue bar, select Edit > Pause.
    4. From the top menu, select Tools > Billing & Payments > Billing summary.
    5. Select Make a payment and pay the balance.
    6. From the top menu, select Tools > Accounts > Accounts summary.
    7. Select the Management tab and then select the checkbox next to the account that you wish to delete.
    8. On the blue bar, select Deactivate > Proceed.
