Hey everyone!

I am especially looking for BingAds Advertisers in Germany (because it'd be the same market) to share some experiences, give tipps and more, because I cannot get any helpful information neither from support nor Mentoring Program.

So maybe you got insider tipps?

Thanks and greets!

Hello LuiseWilke,

Thank you for posting on the Bing Ads forums support and the forums are always great places to get/ share the knowledge of the platform! I must apologize as it seems you have contacted our support channels and they we not able to provide guidance on your account. For optimization tactics and the insider info I have three tips I generally try to relay to advertisers when I come in contact with them. Granted these are not country specific but you may find these tips helpful.

  1. If you haven’t already you should download Bing Ads editor as this tool is great for setting up a good hierarchy account structure which is key to successful advertising campaign. In addition to the editor Bing Ads intelligence is a application that installs inside Microsoft Excel and I would also recommend this for keyword expansion.
  2. There are three different networks you are able to opt into and separating these channels by campaign is best to align them by network worth. The three are Bing –Yahoo—Aol, syndicated search partners, and content network. I would bid highest to lowest in that order.
  3. Understanding the straight broad match type. A straight broad match keyword term works similar to a content setting where the system will try to find queries that are relevant to your terms and show them. In some cases your term may not be within the query at all but the system has found relevancy within the terms and displayed the ad.

I hope the information above is helpful and if anyone else has tips or tricks to share please do!
