Google Import is suddenly not working

We have an import from Google Merchant Center that has been working great for a year. We import it manually and have it scheduled every night as well. I went to go import today after adding some new products into Google Merchant Center and the screen is totally different than usual and the import is not bringing in any products. It shows zero products published, but I see in the MS Merchant Center summary that we have over 3,000 products active.

What has happened to the import process? When I try to download reports, I get an error. Screenshot below showing the weird screen and the error. We have not seen this until today. What do we need to do to get the import to work properly again and show the published products?

I understand that you want your products to appear immediately after uploading your product feed to your Microsoft Advertising Account, as you’re eager to start advertising your new product catalog.

As you mentioned in your post, it seems you’ve updated your Google feed file with your new product catalog. After uploading it, the feed summary didn’t display the details of the uploaded feed. This can happen because the system is still processing all the product details and descriptions. It may take some time for the summary to appear, usually about an hour or so, depending on the schedule set.

I recommend keeping an eye on it periodically, especially since you received a message confirming the upload was successful. And your Merchant Center Summary page shows the uploaded products, which are now under review by the system.

You can also check the offers in Google Merchant Center to ensure they are approved shopping offers and also check the import options in Microsoft Merchant Center to ensure that the markets associated with the approved shopping Google Merchant Center offers are specified. Try to import again.
