Building, integrating, or customizing apps and workflows within Microsoft Teams using developer tools and APIs
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
I'm truly grateful you shared this thought. A clear "thank you" emoji would undoubtedly make communication in Teams much more accurate and meaningful. I absolutely understand your organization's policy disallowing custom emojis, and how frustrating it must be when the existing Microsoft standard emojis just can't fully capture the sentiment you're trying to express.
I've looked into this, and I've noticed that the user community has already voiced similar suggestions on the Microsoft Feedback Portal. This is a critical platform where Microsoft directly listens to its users. If an idea receives many votes and strong community support, Microsoft tends to prioritize its consideration and implementation. I genuinely encourage you to upvote similar proposals there if you haven't already!
As a moderator, I'll also proactively take your valuable feedback, along with that of other community members, and raise it with our internal IT development team. We're always striving to improve the user experience, and direct, insightful feedback like yours is incredibly valuable for us to relay to those who can make a difference.
Thank you for your patience and for the effort you've put into this Microsoft's development. I truly hope it gets resolved for you soon.
