No response to HDInsight quota request – SR# 2506200030006435 (Southeast Asia)

Hi Microsoft Team,

I had submitted a quota increase request to enable 10 cores for HDInsight cluster in Southeast Asia under Pay-As-You-Go subscription.

S: 2506200030006435 .
Raised on: June 20, 2025 .
Subscription: ******@gmail.com

I received a reply initially asking for SKU and error screenshot, which I provided. However, I have had no further response since June 23.

I have tried calling 1800-102-1100 (India) and using the virtual agent link, but both did not work.

Could you kindly escalate or assist in processing this quota request? I am stuck and unable to proceed with cluster creation.

    Hi @Krupal Bandari,

    Thank you so much for following up and for the support extended earlier regarding the quota increase.

    I did try again after the confirmation, but unfortunately still faced the same core quota limit errors, even when using the minimum configuration. I double-checked all regional quotas, and though usage was 0%, I was not able to proceed due to the combined vCPU + SKU quota behavior.

    Since this was for learning purposes and I could not afford the projected monthly cost, I have decided to try out GCP Dataproc for now, which suits my needs and budget better at the moment.

    I really appreciate your time and help; your responsiveness and clarity were truly valuable. I will surely explore Azure again in the future.
