If you are using Windows 10 for business purposes and have a genuine Windows 10 license, then free updates available (no cost) because :

    • Microsoft offers free upgrades to Windows 11 from Windows 10 as long as the PC meets the minimum system requirements (which you said yours does).
    • This applies to both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro, including business-use installations.
    • You do not need to repurchase Windows or pay any extra fee.

    *BUT with some Conditions:

    • You must have a genuine, activated Windows 10.
    • Your device must meet Windows 11's minimum system requirements (CPU, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, etc.).
    • If your device is managed by a company IT department, they may control the upgrade timeline or use tools like Intune or WSUS to manage rollout.

As noted, Windows 10 is free to update to Windows 11 so long as the hardware is supported. If you have hardware that is NOT supported, you can still install Windows 11 'in an unsupported state' and it is 'not recommended' but it does work.

To install Windows 11 on a device that doesn't meet the minimum system requirements, including Secure Boot, modify the registry to bypass the TPM 2.0 and CPU family/model checks.

    • Open Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup.
    • Create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value named AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU.
    • Set its value to 1.

Restart and then attempt the upgrade via the Windows 11 Setup from the ISO.Windows 11 will then be in an unsupported state and Microsoft can claim that they may prevent updates to the computer, however in practice, they don't.

Considering the normal minimum requirement that fails is the CPU, as it has to be 8th Generation Intel or higher (or equivalent AMD), those are from ~2018/2019 so by attrition they should be getting replaced by new systems by this time.
