Azure Logic Apps Custom Connector Security Tab Entries are not persisting

When I enter OAuth2 credentials (Client ID, Authorization URL, Client Secret) in the Security tab of my custom connector and click Save, all fields revert to blank and my settings aren’t saved.

This prevents the connector from authenticating against Microsoft Graph.

What could cause this behavior, and how can I ensure the security details persist?

I have tried clearing my browser cache, switching to different browser, different devices and even with a different user but the issue still persisted.
There is no error. The changes in security tab get successfully updated, but do not persist once the update is done.

Go to Azure Portal > App registrations > Your App > Authentication and check to see if you have the correct redirect URL. Looking around it should look something like:

https://global.consent.azure-apim.net/redirect

If its not registered then it can accept the vals but then silently fail to save them.

Hi,

The redirect url was not configured in the App Registration. I have configured it now.

However, even after setting the redirect url, the updated values in Custom Logic App Connector are not retaining.

Since the values in the Security tab are still not persisting even after setting the redirect URI, please try updating the connector using the Code view. This helps avoid any UI-related save issues.

Below is a sample of how you can update the OAuth2 authentication section directly in the Code view:

"authentication": { "type": "oauth2", "oauth2": { "authorizationUrl": "https://login.microsoftonline.com/<your-tenant-id>/oauth2/v2.0/authorize", "tokenUrl": "https://login.microsoftonline.com/<your-tenant-id>/oauth2/v2.0/token", "refreshUrl": "", "clientId": "<your-client-id>", "clientSecret": "<your-client-secret>", "scopes": { "https://graph.microsoft.com/.default": "Microsoft Graph" } } }

Ensure sure to replace <your-tenant-id>, <your-client-id>, and <your-client-secret> with your actual values. Also confirm that the redirect URI https://global.consent.azure-apim.net/redirect is added under the Web platform in your Azure App Registration, not under SPA or any other platform.

After updating and saving the code, test the connector again to verify if the values are now retained. If you have any further questions, please reply back.
