Request for SCCM 2309 Baseline Media or Support Regarding MP 404 Issue in 2403/2503

To Microsoft Support Team,

We are currently encountering a persistent issue related to the installation of the Management Point (MP) role in SCCM version 2403 and 2503, specifically:

• After a clean installation, the MP fails to function properly.
• The IIS virtual directory ccm_system is either missing or pointing to an incomplete path.
• The log file mpcontrol.log reports:
  Call to HttpSendRequestSync failed for port 80 with status code 404, text: Not found
• Our investigation (and feedback from the community) indicates that the folder C:\Program Files\SMS_CCM\ccm_system and critical files like ccmisapi.dll are not being created during MP setup.

We believe this may be a regression issue introduced in the 2403 baseline media.

Environment Details:

SCCM Version: 2403 / 2503 (clean install)

OS: Windows Server 2022

MP Role Installation: Fails with IIS 404 errors

Logs: mpcontrol.log, mpmsi.log available upon request
