registry.godaddy Contact Form Spam

We received a lot of spam emails from [email protected] or [email protected] over the weekend though our website's contact form.

We tried to follow this fix as mentioned here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wordpress/comments/17rx93o/crazy_spike_in_contact_form_spam/ but it doesn't seem to be working.

Here's the setting of the rule we made for this inbox. This is a shared inbox so we had to add the rule on Outlook website.

    Hi Kaz,

    If more fake GoDaddy emails come from similar domains, block the whole domain:

    • In Outlook Rules, set:
      • "From" contains @registry.godaddy.com.
      • Action: Delete permanently.

    You can also Use the built-in Report button in Outlook to report junk and phishing messages:
