Managing applications through Configuration Manager in Intune
Need to to suppress reboot

I am upgrading the GlobalProtect client to the latest version 6.3.3. When I deploy the MSI through SCCM, it restarts automatically after the upgrade. I want to suppress the restart. I tried using the /norestart switch, but it's not working. Please suggest a switch that can successfully suppress the restart.

Jerry Costa 0 Reputation points2025-08-22T20:26:24.0166667+00:00 I just tested it and /norestart will be effective. GP does need a reboot, so make sure that you add that to your deployment method. I use the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit to wrap up my installers. We have three portals, so I can easily use one package to deploy all of them using custom switches.
