Hello,

We have an on-premise version of Azure DevOps and want to explore the Test Plan/Test Hub feature. I see the following message when I am in the section:

ContainerNotFoundThe specified container does not exist. RequestId:5faf70cd-d01e-001d-5ed7-bafc26000000 Time:2025-05-01T20:30:55.1256109Z

In addition, i see a message that reads:

You are currently logged in as a user with basic access level and you are seeing this page as you don't have any test plans and test suites created for the selected team.

Is my basic access level why I am unable to create a test plan? From your literature online it appears i should be able to see iterations/sprints display in this view.

I've attached a screenshot of the tab's display.image

Please assist.

    Hi @Oscar

Is my basic access level why I am unable to create a test plan?

    • If you are using a free trial, then you need to enable it under Billing section.
    • Navigate to the Organization Settings = > select Billing section to start a free trial.

    • You also need to Install the Test & Feedback Extension. Install from the below screen directly

    OR
You can install it from Extensions section.

This MSDoc clearly explains on how to install and enable the Test Plan for free subscription.

    • As mentioned in the above MSDoc, you need to create Boards first.
