installed httpd on redhat linux ,enabled the port 80 but not able to see default apache page

If you've already enabled HTTP (port 80) and HTTPS (port 443) but still cannot access the default Apache webpage, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

Check your installation

Verify if Apache is running

sudo systemctl status httpd

If it's not running, start it

sudo systemctl start httpd

sudo systemctl enable httpd

Verify Apache is listening on port 80

sudo ss -tuln | grep :80

Also please check the firewall rules

sudo firewall-cmd --list-all

If you don't see http and https in the output, allow them explicitly

sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=http
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=https
sudo firewall-cmd --reload
