For my devices that join my Azure AD domain, they are auto-enrolled into Intune, which is our MDM authority. Various settings are successfully applied except for the Desktop Image and Lock Screen Image URL. The images themselves are hosted in an Azure blob container. I've verified the images are publicly accessible. I've searched endlessly to fix this but still no luck. Any ideas?2025-04-23_14-01-25

    Hi Rich Mlabs

Please confirm whether the machines failed to create the required registry on the path

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PersonalizationCSP?

Please note: Wallpaper is only supported for windows 10 professional devices if you used Intune for Education

Steps to ensure that desktop and lock screen wallpaper are set on compliant devices.

    1. Prepare the Wallpapers:
      • Ensure you have two wallpapers: one for the desktop and one for the lock screen.
      • The wallpapers should be in PNG, JPG, or JPEG format and stored in a publicly accessible location, such as an Azure storage container or SharePoint Online.
    2. Create a Device Configuration Profile:
      • Go to the Microsoft Intune admin center.
      • Navigate to Devices > Configuration profiles > Create profile.
      • Select Windows 10 and later as the platform.
      • Choose Device restrictions as the profile type.
    3. Configure the Wallpaper Settings:
      • In the Device restrictions profile, go to the Personalization section.
      • Set the Desktop background URL and Lock screen image URL to the locations where your wallpapers are stored.
    4. Assign the Profile to Devices:
      • Assign the configuration profile to the groups of devices you want to apply the wallpaper settings to.
      • Ensure the devices are compliant and enrolled in Intune.
    5. Sync Policies:
      • After assigning the profile, sync the policies on the target devices to apply the new wallpaper settings.

This process ensures a consistent look across all devices and can help reinforce your organization's branding and security policies.
