I am the only Global Administrator for my Microsoft 365 tenant and am locked out due to MFA issues. I cannot access any support portals due to this lockout
I am locked out of my MFA (MS Authenticator app) and I am the only Global Administrator for my Microsoft 365 tenant and am locked out due to MFA issues. I cannot access any support portals due to this lockout.
On the authenticator, to get the (6-digit) code I need to sign into my account the app itself asks me for a 6-digit code from the authenticator. I am unable to navigate the phone tree in a way that elevates this case. All paths lead me back to submitting an online case/ticket, which I can't do without the code. Similarly, I can't chat without the code. I have no other MFA set up with my account so sending a text is not an option. I've tried so many things on the phone tree to elevate this case that the number has blocked me. I am literally totally locked out from our Office 365 account with no recourse.
What's more is that several employees (including me) got phished. My colleague confirmed a foreign login last week. So, bad actors have had or still have access to my account and I can't log in to see what information they may have accessed and secure the account. This issue may have well been caused by the hackers.
Please help!!! This is a critical flaw with MS support!
