Can't access B2C tenant using MFA code

How can I resolve the issue of being unable to authenticate via MFA for my B2C tenant, despite successfully using MFA with my main tenant, and what steps should I take if I cannot access the code from my mobile device or switch to the B2C tenant?

    The issue relates to a tenant lockout situation where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary admin rights to re-register MFA.
