Trying to restore when dpm is inaccessible

Our dpm servers are inaccessible and we need to perform a restore. How do we restore databases and VMs backed up to azure without dpm?

If DPM is down but your backups are in Azure, you can restore directly from the Azure Recovery Services vault.
For files/DBs: Install the MARS agent on a temporary server, connect it to your vault, and recover data.
For Azure VMs: Go to the vault in Azure Portal and restore from there.
If you need to rebuild DPM, redeploy it and reconnect the vault to access historical backups.
