Office 2024 LTSC keeps showing as Office 365

I have recently removed Microsoft 365 from my PC and installed Office 2024 Pro LTSC.

After installation when I open an App, for example Word, the Account shows that the product is Microsoft 365 and that "you're having trouble verifying the office licence". I have not been given the opportunity to input my licence number.

I cannot update the licence - when I select input a licence instead an error pops up "Couldn't update licence". I still have not been given an opportunity to input my licence. Error Code 29 is given.

When I select 'switch account', 'use a different account', 'enter product key instead' I input my product key and select 'Activate Office'. "Getting Office Ready for You" pops up and then reverts back to the Office Account screen, which still shows the product as Microsoft 365 'Can't Verify Licence'.

I will then uninstall the product again, restart my PC, and reinstall Office 2024.

Same result after 3 attempts.

Please assist ASAP.
