How does disabling Add Ins effect existing setups?

We are looking at turning off My Custom Apps, My Marketplace Apps, and My ReadWriteMailbox Apps in the Default User Role but are curious how this will affect users who have already deployed add ins on their own? Do they become non-functional? Or will this only effect users who attempt to use add ins moving forward?

    Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

    In general, My Custom Apps, My Marketplace Apps, and My ReadWriteMailbox Apps these roles only enable user to install and manage some specific add-ins. For some add-ins that already have been installed, they should work normally. However, end users cannot continue to manage these existing add-ins, and cannot install or manage other new add-ins.
