Unable to create work profile

I could no longer find my work profile, as if it was automatically deleted from my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, I uninstalled the company portal, restarted my phone, and reinstalled it.

After signing in successfully, as I was about to setup the work profile, I get an error message which states, "Contact your IT admin for support", when I click "OK", I get another error "Unable to create work profile - We were unable to set up your work profile. If the problem persists, contact your support person because your device might not support work profile creation".

Is there any recent issue with company portal as I do not understand why my work profile is automatically deleted and now, I can't create a new one.

    Hi Taofeek,

    Have you tried removing the work profile itself from your device? This is not automatically done by uninstalling or reinstalling the company portal application.

    We had a similar issue which was caused by a conflicting work profile already installed on the device.

    Depending on the Android version you are running it might look different. But it should be located around:

    • Settings > Accounts and backups > Manage Accounts
    • Select work account at bottom
    • No uninstall all the previous work profile(s)
