Hello Microsoft Support,
I’m unable to set up a work profile on my Huawei MatePad Pro (Model: WEB-W09, HarmonyOS 4.3.0) using the Intune Company Portal. When attempting to enroll, I receive the following errors:
- "Unable to create work profile" (Company Portal)
- "A work profile can't be added to this device" (Android Managed Provisioning)
Device Details:
- OS: HarmonyOS 4.3.0
- Model: HUAWEI MatePad Pro (WEB-W09)
- RAM: 12GB | Storage: 512GB
- Google Services Status: Installed via third-party (GBox) – Google Play & GMS are functioning normally, but native Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) is also present.
What I’ve Tried:
- Ensured the device meets minimum requirements.
- Verified no pending OS updates.
- Confirmed Google Play Services are operational (via GBox).
Request:
- Could you confirm if work profiles are supported on HarmonyOS devices, even with Google Mobile Services (GMS) enabled via third-party methods?
- If work profiles are not supported, are there alternative enrollment methods (e.g., MAM app protection without a work profile)?
- Does Microsoft Intune officially support Huawei devices with HMS + sideloaded GMS?
