Thank You Bandela for your response. The problem is when I am updating the Identifier, the new identifier is not set to default and I have to do it manually. So it defeats the whole automation purpose.

I understand that you are trying to Upload Metadata file in SAML using Graph API for automation.

I believe Azure also have another option for uploading Metadata that is go to Enterprise Application>Activity>Sign in logs. Then you can add and upload Metadata file in SAML.

Or is this thing you are not looking after. If not, please share the document you would like to follow.

The answers don't address the original question, we only have generic documentation about SAML application provisioning which miss the central point which is client metadata file upload through Graph API :

• Nothing about the parsing
• Nothing about how to add the client certificate from the client metadata (especially since we only have the public part of the certificate)
• No explicit explanation of how the UI action (upload metadatafile) translate into what sequence of Graph API calls
• The example about CEX/PER certificate is missing in several langages (Go) and the example given use Powershell which is far from the initial request which specify "Using Graph API"
