Azure Subscription Created Without Consent or Access – Role Unknown, Billing Blocked, No Support Available

I signed into Azure using my domain (******@korryngravesllc.net) to begin building a cloud infrastructure project under my verified tenant, Korryn Graves LLC. Upon first sign-in, a Pay-As-You-Go subscription was automatically provisioned under my tenant without my consent, billing configuration, or explicit setup.

Issue:

  • The subscription (ID: 33b04c3c-42d2-4eed-9272-6ee4af47de15) is in a Disabled and Warned state.

My user role is listed as "Unknown" — I cannot assign myself as Owner or access billing.

I cannot cancel or delete the subscription.

I have no access to billing profile, offer details, current billing period, or cost center metadata.

The Azure portal repeatedly returns "No support options available" for all support categories — including subscription access and cancellation.

When I attempted to contact [email protected] directly, I received an auto-response stating that I am not authorized to email the group.

Impact:

This issue has blocked me from proceeding with my project (ASTRAEUS) and represents a serious failure in Azure’s user provisioning and support infrastructure. I am the verified tenant owner and the only user in this environment, yet I have no ability to control or exit a subscription that was created in my name.

What I Need:

Assign full administrative rights (Subscription Owner + Billing Admin) to ******@korryngravesllc.net OR

Cancel and delete the subscription so I can recreate it under proper billing control.

I also request:

A formal explanation of how and why this subscription was provisioned

Assurance that no charges will be incurred or associated with this unauthorized state

Azure credits to offset the lost time and damage caused by this provisioning failure

Key Information:

Tenant: Korryn Graves LLC

Domain: korryngravesllc.net

Tenant ID: a00556d4-7844-4937-a686-900059912e4a

Subscription ID: 33b04c3c-42d2-4eed-9272-6ee4af47de15

Primary User: ******@korryngravesllc.net

Let me know if this needs to be reported through another official channel. So far, all internal escalation pathways are blocked.

    Hi Korryn Graves,

Thank you for your update, and I’m glad to hear the Azure subscription issue has been resolved and is no longer causing any harm. Regarding your question about the Microsoft Partner Program verification process. I can provide some guidance and resources to help you through the verification process.

When you enroll in a new program in Partner Center or change legal details in your profile, Microsoft verifies the information you provide. This includes verifying your company name, company address, and primary contact details. You can monitor the verification status in Partner Center under Account settings > Legal Info. Documentation link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/enroll/verification-responses

Make sure the primary contact email is a monitored work account that can send and receive emails. Avoid using personal addresses outside the company domain. If you don’t get the verification email within one business day, you can resend it from your profile page.

Identity verification confirms the identity of at least one user on the account. Ensure that personal information and other details match the supporting ID documents. If identity verification is rejected, you may need to provide additional documentation.

Employment verification requires the vetting team to check your files in the backend. If you face continuous issues, you can open a support ticket for further assistance.

Regarding your earlier question about the automatic provisioning of the Azure subscription, it’s possible this was part of Azures onboarding workflow, which sometimes pre-provisions Pay-As-You-Go subscriptions for tenant-verified users to simplify access. While this should not have caused any charges without configuration, you can review details about this in the following link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/create-subscription

    Reference:

Hope the above provided information help you resolve the issue, if you have any further concerns or queries, please feel free to reach out to us.
