How to outsmart the long file name problem on FTP.

May I know if you encountered code issues using VB.NET items to transfer files? If so, please provide the code context where you encountered the error so that we can check it.

I haven't encountered any code issues using VB.NET to transfer files, just the files with the long path name. For the file transfer I'm using the ComponentOne.Ftp dll, payed version. So, I don't think the code example will help here:

I think the problem is on the server side, where the server need to create an all the folders from the long path and finally to copy the file there. The server runs inside the Windows Server 2022 environment, so here comes the long file names limitation of the Windows OS.

I tried to activate the LongNamesSupport in the server's Registry, but with no success.

Tried the last versions of the FileZilla Server for FTPS and the BitVise SSH Server for SFTP.
