@SUIKA Based on my understanding, Intune is not designed to root devices remotely.

Rooting an Android device involves gaining elevated privileges, often referred to as "root access" or "superuser" permissions, which allows users to customize and modify the device beyond the manufacturer's default settings. This process typically requires physical access to the device and cannot be done remotely through Intune.

Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

In addition, what Intune can do for android is based on what Google MDM provided. Google MDM doesn't provide root feature.

    Hope it will help.

@SUIKA Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

If your device is enrolled to Intune (MDM), your device is managed by the organization. What did you mean "root"?

For example, Intune can deploy policies, assign apps and use remote actions to your device. The following guide provides Android-specific resources.

Hope it will clarify something. If you have anything update, feel free to let us know.
