@SUIKA, Thanks for posting in Q&A.
Adding a Microsoft work account to your Android phone does not automatically enroll the device in Intune. However, there are a few scenarios to consider:
- Conditional Access Policies: If your organization has set up conditional access policies to require device compliant, adding a work account might prompt you to install company portal to enroll into Intune to access certain resources (like email or company apps). This would typically involve a series of prompts and steps to complete the enrollment process.
- Company Portal App: For Intune specifically, the enrollment process usually requires the installation of the Microsoft Intune Company Portal app. If you sign in this app, the device will do enrollment.
You can read the enrollment steps for different Android enrollment methods in the following links to know it better:
- Personally owned work profile devices.
- Corporate-owned work profile devices.
- Dedicated devices.
- Fully managed devices.
In a summary, if we just add working account but not doing the above steps to do enrollment, the device will not be enrolled into Intune.
Hope the above information can help you.
