Auto logon for Win 11

In our manufacturing facility, we have minicomputers used for scan stations (numeric keypad, scan gun, touch screen monitor).

We need these to auto login (supply user name and password) silently. This wasn't a problem for Win 10 but we don't see the option for Win 11. The only option we find is a bypass setting in the Registry.

These connect to our domain for managing but have know need to look back at the domain.

A suggestion on another MSFT forum suggested this link but the utility does not work. Version is 3.1.10.

Has anyone dealt with this issue?

Thanks everyone.

On a Win 10 box, we use Autologon Sysinternals and everything behaves as expected. However, we cannot get it to work on a Win 11 box.

The Win 11 box is joined to our domain but no GPOs have been changed that would treat a Win 10 box differently than a Win 11 box.

Basically, a reboot or a sign in always requires a User logon with user name and password. Both fields are blank.

At this point we are looking for what the roadblock may be which is preventing the Autologon to work.

Did you try using the sysinternals tag so it appears in the forum I linked above. This includes users ofr all the sysinternals tools including autologon. We can see if others are seeing the same issues with autologon as you are or have found solutions to get it to work with Windows 11.
