Every time I am in a Microsoft Learn Power BI Lab and it asks me to sign into my Power BI Service, Intune flags my user as "Risky" and blocks my User Account. I believe it is because the Lab virtual Machine is not on an approved hardware list or the domain is not recognized.

This question is related to the following Learning Module

Microsoft Intune Application management

@Jim Medlen, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

From your description, I know you want to prevent User blocked as security risk when using Microsoft Learn Lab.

Based on my research, when participating in Microsoft Learn Power BI Labs, your sign-ins from the lab's virtual machines (VMs) may trigger Microsoft Entra ID Protection to flag your account as "risky." This often occurs because these VMs might not align with your organization's recognized devices or trusted networks, leading to the detection of atypical sign-in behaviors. Microsoft Entra ID Protection continuously analyzes sign-in attempts to identify potential risks, such as unfamiliar locations, anonymous IP addresses, or atypical device characteristics.

Please check the conditional access policy which may prevent User blocked as security risk when using Microsoft Learn Lab, we can follow the links below to adjust the policy or turn off the policy.

    Hope it can help you.
